SEASON GREETINGS!
After a torrid, tumultuous 21 months of Covid and continuing… I managed to ‘hit the road’ again with my Writers’ book stall kicking off Advent on Friday 3rd December at Sandbach’s Xmas Fair.
Hundreds attended which got the occasion off in grand style in a civilised manner with wonderful bonhomie and convivial spirit!
Trade was excellent, good natured and ‘entertaining!’ Was good to blow away long tufts of ‘lockdown cobwebs’ and engage with ‘real’ human beings again and typing this! Realised how much we had all missed things and have some fun!
Though the time ‘away’ was frustrating and not without a serious health scare it wasn’t wasted. Xmas can also be a sad time for many so cherish all the good ones and what Love has left us.
Completed 2 more books including a very exciting and ambitious follow up to the Mystery of Cloverdaisy Cottage-the best yet. In fact I’m so thrilled by the story that I won’t be self-publishing this one- it’s far too good and deserves doing the rounds for a London Agent cum publishing house- once my editor has done her bit!
The other-‘Richer not Poorer-Death was the Start’ is an adult romantic crime thriller and taken over 3 years to complete-nearly took me with it too!
Again a terrific story and plot and now in the editing queue but will take a while-270000 words as a first draft!
Next market stalls coming up are:-
11th December 2021 – Nantwich outdoor market
12th December 2021 – Sale Makers market
18th December 2021 – Chorlton Makers market.
Please check my own www and posting websites for any changes, especially Moulton Past and Present and Mid-Cheshire Through Time.
Best wishes everyone. Have a Happy and peaceful Xmas with an even better New Year!!
