News

Quiet with the markets since summer but done loads of submissions since last newsletter to both Publishing agents and publisher’s direct-tough going but hopeful as ever.

However during the summer three separate publishers offered me a full publishing agreement which has been great news and well received. Pegasus books have been selected for Part II of The Mystery of Cloverdaisy Cottage*’ and agreed to let me use my own illustrator again, Jim Crawley who’s brilliant. Don’t expect the release before next Easter but I will keep you posted; very excited. The follow up is mind-blowing!

Amidst that I’m enduring a huge amount of grief following my Brother Trevor’s death in September which has hit me very hard. Loved him to bits and miss him terribly. As a consequence I’ve dedicated Cloverdaisy II in his memory.

Life goes on but the journey gets more lonely as the years tick bye. Thank God for the rest of family especially my wife, daughter Kate and granddaughters Molly & Nel.

New writing has ceased temporarily as I’m concentrating on full PR work especially touting agents, ‘Richer not Poorer-Death was the Start’ the lengthy Romantic thriller which has great potential but proving hard to place.

My 2 granddaughters want me to write a book for them but I’m spoilt for choice where to start and find the time! That said with close family passings in the last few years it might be time for a return to my debut days 2014 when I wrote my first book ‘Winding the Clock Back-the 60’s relived’ only this time call it  ‘Winding the Clock…forward!

With advent looming but with a tough financial Xmas waiting, let us not forget it’s the Season of goodwill, peace and Goodwill to all with faith & Love.

Look after yourselves and those you cherish.

God bless & keep smiling!
