Well folks it’s virtually come round again already; begins with either X or ‘C’! Tempus Fugit and all that plus this one marks the end of another decade and 20 years since the Millennium-sheesh!

With the Season of Advent imminent & very unseasonal weather t’boot-global warming or not- is with us on an ever increasing scale. It was not like this growing up in the 60’s, 70’s or early 80’s!

Still the Great British spirit will celebrate regardless despite the untimely interruption of a certain ‘Election’… farcical though it is! Least we can banish the Brexit blues once & for all even if it’s on Santa’s sleigh ride down the chimney stack!

Since my last bulletin I’ve been ‘chocca’ writing/editing as usual and very busy doing the Artisan markets throughout the Northwest during the summer and early autumn. These are my best outlet for sales other than the web-site or word of mouth. Still waiting for the big-literary-break however! I love the one to one banter with the public and the kids in particular especially those who are avid readers. Flat out now with those markets right up to Xmas Eve weekend before the January ‘shutdown!’ Watch for all my ‘appearances’ via Facebook or local ‘rag’ including PR slot in December’s Our Town magazine!

At last The Conker Tree Kids has ‘gone to press’ and with a push could be out by the end of November-great stocking filler for the over 14’s…mad, zany and hilarious-on a par with junior versions of Spike Milligan, Monty Python, The Inbetweeners, League of Gentlemen and Wacky Races…very naughty too!!

‘Cloverdaisy’ and ‘Winding the Clock Back’ are still extremely popular and selling very well. Start Pt II of the former in the spring.

For the ‘grown-ups’ my long running-4 year saga-adult fiction first draft, Richer not Poorer-Death was the Start’ should be finished in December. Its then off to my Editor who I don’t envy as there are well over 215,000 words! Worth waiting for.

Right I’m done as is the year-nearly – so…as everyone starts a sentence with these days…all have a great time and a fantastic Xmas with a happy, peaceful, and contented- most of all-healthy New Year!
