Spring 2020 – Update? – Hope… spring‘s eternal!

Normally I would have done my quarterly bulletin much sooner than this but… what could I comment on that’s not already been said or reported?

Life as we know it – once knew it – will not be the same again – ever, anywhere!

Whilst I don’t want to pontificate about the obvious or predict where the aftermath of this dreaded COVID-19 will take us all, indeed the Planet, we must keep the candle of faith alive – to be sure of what we hope for, certain of the things we cannot see.

Since the Xmas/New Year break I only started with the markets again on the 7th. March and that’s been it for the year… so far.

One many positives apart from ‘loving one’s neighbours more’ has however been the time ‘allocated’ compulsory and unexpectedly to write even more frantically and ferociously! Such that my Romantic fiction draft of ‘Richer not Poorer… is at last – after over 4 years – seeing light at the end of the proverbial – Hallelujah! 247000 words later… and fast heading to the ¼ million mark – poor Editor! Made for TV series or film – think on Grantchester or Father Brown. However once the ‘sparring’ rounds with her start then I turn my attention to writing Cloverdaisy II – a must for anyone who’s read No. 1. Can’t believe that’s been out well over 2 years already! Have loads of great ideas for it backed up by equally brilliant drawings – again!

No knee jerk or commercial ulterior motive with this either but when ‘normal service is resumed’ I will be doing huge discounts to get rolling again properly but with 2 qualifications – 10% of all sales each will go to our incredible NHS and St. Luke’s Hospice who I’ve supported seasonally for some years now. It’s the least I can do, losses or otherwise.

Short and sweet yes which leaves me to wish you all a safe passage, stay well and remember at some point ‘THIS TOO SHALL PASS’

David.
Ps. Have a nice Easter!
